With 3.2MM viewers daily, LIVE! with Regis and Kelly knows how to hold a super stunt. As part of a huge promotion for spring 2011 during sweeps, LIVE! asked hawkeye to work with renowned ultramarathon runner Dean Karnazes for Run Across America. Running 40 to 50 miles a day for nearly 75 days, Dean’s trip will take him from Disneyland in California to the studios of LIVE! with Regis and Kelly in New York City.

Partnering with regional television affiliates creates maximum exposure for this project. In conjunction with Dean’s cross-country run, hawkeye produced 14 5K running events where people can sign up to run with Dean in key markets. All proceeds benefit Action for Healthy Kids.

hawkeye staff, a film crew, two tour buses and three vehicles were a part of Dean’s entourage as he completed this incredible feat while inspiring people across the nation to get active.
