
John’s creative direction is backed by 20+ years of general and direct marketing experience shaped by a wise sense of design and a smart strategic perspective. He naturally translates design concepts into engaging content platforms, vigorous digital strategies, intuitive navigation and clear information hierarchies.
Prior to joining hawkeye, John co-founded a marketing communications firm in Minneapolis and was responsible for managing accounts, new business and creative direction. Previously, John worked in senior creative positions for clients such as Cargill, Delta and Northwest Airlines, Hallmark, Fairmont and Starwood Hotels, Polaris, Canon, Sprint, Charles Schwab, Disney and National Car. His work filled seats, booked rooms, and prompted both consumers and B2B decision makers to sign up, sign on, subscribe and return.
John believes that if you slow down, you fall down, and that life is a series of adventures whether in business or life in general. He makes the most of every opportunity, no matter what. Other adventures include visiting family throughout Italy and stomping a good grape, culinary disasters, guitar riffs, scuba, difficult people and always being willing to help.
