As the leader of the Insight and Strategy department, John and his team develop problem-solving tools that help clients solve their most challenging marketing issues. He brings 26 years of experience to the team. John’s approach is understanding customer needs, analyzing competitive activity to identify “white space” and knowing the vision for the brand to solve even the most challenging marketing problems.

The industries he has worked in are telecom, financial services, QSR, packaged goods, travel, hospitality and technology. His clients have included Agilent Technologies, Alltel, Cablevision, Capital One, DowBrands, GTE, Hewlett-Packard, International DQ, Microsoft, Oscar Mayer, Pizza Hut, Sprint and Western Union.

In his spare time, John enjoys performing live musical theater and says that “singing and dancing in front of a live audience is a great analogy for what we do every day. It takes a combination of preparation, thinking on your feet and the flexibility to adjust. Then it’s 50% exhilaration and 50% sheer terror, and figuring out how to master both.”
