
Richard joined hawkeye in 2001 after 13 years with WPP where he had worked in a range of senior international roles, latterly as Director of Strategy for WPP’s market research businesses. As the CEO of hawkeye, Richard has brought this experience to bear leading the business to become a strong competitor and leader across its marketing and technology-led disciplines. He believes passionately that by having the very best people and providing the environment for those people to do their jobs well, you create a vibrant and successful business no matter what the industry. As David Ogilvy once said, “…if each of us hires people who are bigger than we are, we shall become a company of giants.”
Richard was born and raised in England and now lives in Dallas. Outside work, his time is spent with his family as well as enjoying sports – especially football (…UK, of course!) and motor racing. But for him it’s most important to make a difference, whether in his local community or more broadly.
Richard is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and the Association of Corporate Treasurers and also holds a BA in Finance.
