Minneapolis – (Nov 7) – Boost and hawkeye announced today that the two companies have agreed to combine under the hawkeye brand effective immediately. The agreement brings together Boost's expertise in areas such as brand development, package design, trade and consumer advertising, relationship marketing, digital media and employee training with hawkeye's proven success in areas such as digital media, data analytics, e-learning, direct, social and mobile, loyalty, experiential and event-based marketing.
"We feel like we've found a great partner in Boost," said Steve Dapper, hawkeye's founder and chairman. "Boost shares our values on the importance of excellent design, relevant content, client satisfaction and on delivering results. They add welcome depth in our areas of strength and give us new capabilities to offer our existing clients and to attract new ones. We're tremendously excited at the prospects this agreement creates."
"This idea felt right from the first meeting," said John Monte, Boost's co-founder, managing partner and creative director. "hawkeye works like we do – with a hands-on, client-focused approach to doing great work – and with an intensity we find familiar and exciting. This is going to be fun, it's going to be interesting and it's going to be great for our clients."
"This is an exciting development for us and, most importantly, for our clients," said Jim Williams, Boost co-founder, partner and creative director. "The combination of Boost and hawkeye gives both companies a wider range of services and expertise to offer our clients and prospects."
The new company will go forward under the hawkeye brand and – with the addition of Boost employees – with more than 300 employees in 10 offices around the world: Boise, Buffalo, Charlotte, Denver, Minneapolis, Seattle, Poland, Singapore and the United Kingdom. The combined company will serve the full range of clients' multi-channel, multi-media production and design needs in industries including financial services, transportation, manufacturing, consumer products, retailing, travel and hospitality, agriculture and healthcare. The company will retain its current Minneapolis offices in the heart of the Uptown district and expects the combination to generate additional assignments and opportunities.
"The great thing about us is that we work like a boutique but we have the starting line-up and the bench strength of a global agency," said Monte, who will serve as managing director of the Minneapolis office and as a member of the company's senior management team. "The hawkeye culture is a great fit for ours and their passion for the business mirrors ours."
"Clients are increasingly interested in marketing partners that help them stand out in the chaotic, constantly changing marketplace," said Dapper. "Our integrated approach brings together traditional marketing channels, cutting-edge digital experience as well as experiential strategies that bring a brand right to the hands of the customer in a way that is highly relevant, compelling and gets results."
